Colt and Icade, the prominent real estate player in the Greater Paris region, have been working together since 2021 and have collaborated on a pilot project to explore the potential of open, secure, and flexible 5G enterprise connectivity supported by an on-demand fiber network. Icade adopts a progressive perspective on property, viewing office spaces and manufacturing facilities as dynamic platforms for data and services rather than mere static structures. This approach highlights the need to establish a standardized method for producing, transporting, storing, and processing the diverse data types generated by smart buildings.
