Cellular radio specialists cellXica, in partnership with core software provider AttoCore, showcased their initial product, the EXSITE-M5Q Plus — a self-contained 5G NR Private Mobile Network. The EXSITE-M5Q Plus features a compact yet rugged all-in-one form factor, enabling faster deployment and simplified network management while keeping costs down.

Offering both machine-to-machine and telephony services, it delivers secure connectivity and managed quality of service (QoS), making it ideal for customers in the manufacturing, industrial, energy, and logistics sectors. You can read more about the solution here.

China Mobile's Backpackable 5G-in-a-Box is an innovative solution that integrates a lite 5G Core, a 5G Integrated Base Station, and Edge applications into a suitcase-sized box. Designed for rapid deployment, it can quickly set up a temporary 5G network for disaster relief operations.

The solution supports up to 400 active users per cell, offering a maximum download rate of 300 Mbps and upload speeds of 150 Mbps. With a coverage radius of 2 km and power consumption of less than 100 watts, it provides a portable yet powerful connectivity option for emergency scenarios.

Comba Telecom showcased their next-generation antenna systems, DAS solutions, repeaters, and private network innovations at MWC 2025 — alongside an exciting new product debut promising to redefine network optimisation. Their private network solution prominently featured small cells designed for in-building and enterprise networks, highlighting their focus on enhancing indoor coverage and capacity.

HFR showcased their One Box Solution – my5GBox at MWC 2025. This all-in-one solution simplifies Private 5G network deployment by requiring only a Radio Unit (RU) to be connected. Its modular design allows for flexible configuration of components either in the cloud or on-premises to suit the client’s environment.

By reducing power consumption by approximately 60% compared to typical Private 5G setups, my5GBox contributes to carbon neutrality efforts. The One Box Rugged server enables installation in various environments, including factories and construction sites with suboptimal conditions. A video of this is available here.

At MWC, the solution featured a Starlink-backhauled 5G private network, demonstrating its versatility for remote or challenging locations. You can find more details about this solution on Netmanias here.

Druid showcased their private network solutions built on the Raemis™ technology platform at MWC 2025. Raemis™ is a suite of cellular software assets, originally crafted by Druid’s engineers and optimised for business use cases.

The Raemis™ platform supports 5G, 4G, 3G, 2G, and Wi-Fi radios from any vendor, enabling the deployment of standalone cellular core network solutions. It also integrates with mobile network operators using standard interfaces, providing access to the operators' full range of radio resources.

G Reigns showcased their compact and portable 5G private network solution at MWC 2025. The REIGN Core offers a compact form factor without compromising 5G SA capabilities, enabling rapid deployment of dedicated private networks in any location.

Designed for flexibility, the solution can be rolled out immediately to suit a variety of user scenarios without location limitations. REIGN Core accelerates the delivery of private 5G networks, reducing deployment time compared to traditional solutions. It is particularly well-suited for proof of concept (PoC) trials and location-based services, especially in environments where space rental costs are high.

Samsung showcased several Private Network solutions at MWC 2025. One highlight was their virtualised Network-in-a-Server solution, featuring the server and radios used in collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company. Prior to MWC, Samsung announced the successful completion of the industry’s first end-to-end Reduced Capability (RedCap) trial over a private 5G network with Hyundai Motor, a global leader in smart mobility solutions. This trial demonstrates the potential of next-generation industrial private 5G connectivity and was featured at Samsung’s booth during the event.

In addition, Samsung displayed their Private Network Management System, designed for streamlined network monitoring and control. Another key showcase was their Defense 5G Network, an end-to-end private 5G solution for defence applications. This includes a 5G SA Compact Core, indoor and outdoor radio solutions, and network management software. The defence solution supports the mid-band (n79, 4.7 GHz) spectrum, which is widely used for military applications.

Viettel showcased several Private 5G Network solutions at MWC 2025. They claim that their 5G Private Network offers a flexible and customisable deployment option designed to meet the specific needs of medium and large-sized companies, factories, seaports, oil and gas facilities, toll stations, defence applications, and emergency response operations.

The solution includes access devices (eNodeB/gNodeB) and a combined core network for 4G/5G (EPC, 5GC), along with an IMS system for data, voice, and messaging services. It complies with the latest GSMA and 3GPP standards for EPC, 5GC, and IMS core networks.

Viettel also highlighted their role in deploying India's first complete 5G Private Network, marking a significant milestone in one of the world’s largest telecommunications markets.

LITEON showcased its 5G Private Network Base Station Solutions (MPN) series at MWC 2025, highlighting collaborations with several renowned companies:

  • NTT EAST: An all-in-one 5G small cell and SMO platform integrating the RAN Intelligent Controller (RIC) to optimise real-time small cell operations, reducing power consumption by approximately 65%.
  • CampusGenius: A joint demonstration of 5G remote automation for supply chains, significantly enhancing logistics efficiency.
  • Yonsei University and Yberg: A three-way collaboration on 5G smart factory applications, leveraging high-speed, low-latency 5G to improve robotic arms and AI applications, exemplifying Industry 4.0 combined with 5G.
